Business Developer II
Xylem is hiring a Business Development Specialist to support out legacy Evoqua Heavy Industry segment. The Business Development Specialist is responsible for identifying opportunities for business growth, optimizing marketing strategies, and contributing to the company's long-term success. This role involves analyzing business processes and finances, implementing business plans, and establishing effective networks.
Responsibilities :
- Analyzing Business Operations : Evaluate and expand business operations to drive sustained growth.
- Revenue Monitoring : Monitor revenue streams and identify opportunities to increase profitability.
- Sales and Marketing Strategy : Evaluate and improve sales, marketing, and branding strategies.
- Market Analysis : Perform competitor analysis to gain an increased market share and develop new lines of business based on consumer behavior.
- Client Relationships : Develop client relationships and strengthen industry partnerships.
- Business Negotiations : Negotiate and close business deals that promote sustained revenue.

A bachelor's degree in engineering (mechanical, chemical, petroleum, or environmental) is preferred, or a related field with at least 5 years of experience or equivalent work experience that provides exposure to fundamental theories, principles, and concepts.Previous experience as a Business Development Specialist in a related industry.Proficiency in integrated business management and CRM software, such as NetSuite and Salesforce.Advanced knowledge of business development, marketing strategies, and brand expansion.Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.Availability and willingness to travel up to 50% within North America (U.S. and Canada). Preferred Qualifications :
Technical understanding of water and wastewater treatment systems and chemistry.Experience in the following industry verticals, Power, CPI, HPI, and Food.Proficiency in data analysis tools and software is also beneficial.Planning, Scheduling, Budgeting & Resource allocation.Effectively manage improvement projects throughout the project's life cycle, ensuring strategic alignment and deliverable focus.Join the global Xylem team to be a part of innovative technology solutions transforming water usage, conservation, and re-use.
