Network Engineer

In this role, the Network Engineer will support the design, deployment, and overall health of our network infrastructure. You will work with a range of technologies to maintain LAN / WAN and wireless environments, conduct system analysis, and assist with long-range network planning. The position offers the opportunity to manage multiple projects, troubleshoot complex issues, and contribute to a stable, efficient network experience for users across the organization. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a technology-related field; OR equivalent experience.

Two years of experience in a related IT role, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

CCNA Route & Switch certification or equivalent demonstrated knowledge.

Strong hardware troubleshooting experience.

Working technical knowledge of network hardware, protocols, and internet standards.

Hands-on experience with routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and network monitoring tools.

Ability to research and evaluate networking issues, tools, and solutions.

Strong documentation and analytical skills.

Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license.

On-call availability up to 10 days per month.

Ability to sit for extended periods and operate computers, tools, and network equipment.

Ability to inspect cabling in floors / ceilings and lift moderately heavy hardware.

May require travel, including occasional overnight stays.

Responsibilities

Perform telecommunications network analysis, design, implementation, and maintenance across the organization.

Conduct engineering studies to determine system requirements and long-range network planning.

Design and deploy LANs, WANs, and wireless networks, including servers, routers, switches, hubs, UPS systems, and related hardware.

Analyze and resolve network hardware and software issues efficiently and accurately.

Create and maintain documentation for network configurations, network mapping, processes, and service records.

Provide end-user support and training when needed.

Manage multiple projects simultaneously without direct supervisory responsibilities.
