Job Title : Senior Data Architect

Work Location : On-site 4 days per week in Columbus, OH

About Us :

Step into a role where architecture meets delivery. Our technology teams are driving modernization across 6 SCRUM teams focused on digital originations for both consumer and commercial banking. As we move from Angular to React on the front end and scale microservices on the back end with Java Spring Boot, we need an Integration Architect to guide the technical flow, bridge gaps, and ensure seamless execution.

What You'll Do :

Act as the Bridge : Serve as the technical link between Solution Architects and delivery teams, ensuring architectural intent is translated into actionable technical solutions.

Guide Integration : Define integration patterns, validate design approaches, and make sure system interactions align with enterprise standards.

Sit Out Front : Lead from the front of the development effort, anticipating challenges and removing technical ambiguity before it impacts the team.

Enable Flow : Partner with Solution Architects to lay out information and data flows, then engage and direct the right technical teams to deliver.

Support Modernization : Help drive the migration from Angular to React while working with Java Spring Boot microservices.

Collaborate in Agile : Engage across 6 SCRUM teams, participating in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and technical design sessions.

What We're Looking For :

Strong experience as an Integration Architect or in a senior technical architecture role within large, distributed enterprise systems.

Proven ability to bridge the high-level design of Solution Architects with the practical implementation of delivery teams.

Hands-on technical proficiency in front-end frameworks (Angular, React) and Java Spring Boot microservices.

Familiarity with middleware / integration platforms and enterprise-scale system design.

Skilled at influencing, guiding, and engaging multiple development teams in Agile / SCRUM environments.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Financial services or banking industry experience is preferred but not required.
