Plant Operations - Building Maintenance

Job Summary

This position is responsible for performing a wide range of semi-skilled and skilled tasks including maintenance work, repairs, and constructions duties. Performs preventative maintenance, and handles a variety of campus projects as assigned. This is position is considered Essential Personnel.

Responsibilities

1 -

Performs tasks related to maintenance, repair, and construction work in basic trades such as carpentry, painting and plumbing.

2 -

Construct, install, and maintain roofs, furniture, fences, cabinets, shelving, chalkboards, bulletin boards, and other office / classroom equipment.

3 -

Install, repair doors, window glass, floors, ceiling tiles, door locks, access enclosures, and a variety of other apparatus.

4 -

Operate a variety of moving equipment, non-power tools, and hand-held power tools including table saws, and drills.

5 -

Troubleshoot maintenance problems, analyze situations, and take corrective action.

6 -

Performs related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Educational Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent

Other Required Qualifications

Must possess a current valid drivers license with an acceptable driving record and pass an annual Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) review.
