DMR Drones / DMR Technologies is a fast-growing drone manufacturing and technology startup in Lafayette, Louisiana. We're hiring an IT Technician / Jr. IT Manager to build and manage our IT systems as we scale production and grow our high-tech workforce.

Key Responsibilities

Build the IT Foundation for a Growing Company

• Set up core IT infrastructure (network, devices, cloud tools, systems).
• Implement scalable processes, hardware standards, and asset management.
• Support engineering, R&D, and manufacturing environments.

IT Security & Systems Management

• Manage cybersecurity controls, MFA, permissions, and device protection.
• Maintain secure workflows for data, IP, and internal tech systems.
• Monitor and troubleshoot issues across office, shop, and remote teams.

New Hire Tech Setup & IT Support

• Handle all onboarding tech (accounts, logins, devices, access).
• Partner with HR to streamline the employee tech experience.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for daily IT support.

Preferred Interests / Bonus Experience

(Not required, but strong differentiators)

• Passion for drones, UAV tech, or aerospace innovation
• Experience in a startup or high-growth tech environment
• Basic Audio/Video editing
• UI/UX testing or product feedback skills
• Customer-facing technical support background
