Senior Budget Analyst Location : San Francisco, CA (2 positions) Make an Impact Where It Matters Most Blue Rose Consulting Group, Inc. (Blue Rose) is seeking Senior Budget Analysts to support a Federal Contract. These positions are contingent upon award and will be performed onsite Monday through Friday. In this role, you will support FPS in managing, analyzing, and reconciling multimillion-dollar budgets that fund the protection of federal facilities and personnel across California and Arizona. What You'll Do As a Senior Budget Analyst, you will :
- Analyze, track, and monitor accounting activities within the Federal Financial Management System (FFMS).
- Prepare and reconcile invoices, vendor payments, and funding documentation for federal contracts.
- Support monthly and quarterly spend plan reviews, billing analyses, and obligation reconciliations.
- Generate management and audit reports from FFMS, WebView, or similar systems.
- Maintain complex Excel spreadsheets, pivot tables, and financial dashboards for FPS leadership.
- Assist in developing budget packages for unfunded security countermeasure requests and Security Work Authorizations (SWAs).
- Provide analytical and administrative support for large-scale protective security contracts.
- Prepare polished briefings, graphs, and financial reports for senior leadership. Schedule & Shift Details

- U.S. Citizenship required
- Must pass DHS background investigation and suitability clearance.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or related field (minimum 24 credit hours in accounting, finance, or quantitative methods required)
- 4 years of experience in federal financial management, accounting, or budget analysis
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, reporting)
- Strong skills in Word, Access, PowerPoint, and Adobe
- Working knowledge of FFMS, WebView, or other federal financial systems preferred
