Project Coordinator

This is a long-term, full-time, hybrid (1 to 2 days per week in office) position located in Washington DC.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a strong understanding of project guidelines and procedures relevant to assigned work.
- Update and manage project data within Procore, including entering key information and uploading supporting documentation.
- Generate and review bi-weekly labor reports, partnering with Project Managers to identify discrepancies and prevent unauthorized charges, ensuring budget accuracy.
- Prepare monthly expenditure reports for assigned projects and compile balance summaries for overall program tracking.
- Coordinate with project teams and accounting personnel to process invoices, refunds, and other financial transactions, while supporting timely cost estimates and financial forecasting.
- Assist construction teams in developing cost estimates and forecasts to strengthen budgeting and cost control efforts.
- Serve as a financial resource for project teams by providing accurate, timely data to support decision-making and oversight.
- Submit daily logs promptly through Procore.
- Perform additional project-related duties as assigned by the Task Manager.

Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or related field, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.5+ years of progressive experience in project controls or project assistant for heavy civil infrastructure projects.Experience coordinating a project management team.Strong knowledge of principles and practices of project management and contract administration with a focus on cost controls.Experience with industry standard project and construction management software (e.g., Primavera P6, TILOS, MS Project, Bluebeam, RSMeans, etc.).Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite / Office 365 (e.g., Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).Proficiency with Procore and Oracle Peoplesoft.Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in construction management, engineering, or architecture.Active professional certifications such as PMP or APM (PMI).PE license in relevant jurisdiction(s).Experience with large (>$500M), complex, heavy-civil infrastructure projects that include highways, roads, bridges, transit (including rail and bus), and / or airport projects.
Experience delivering projects through both traditional and alternative methods (e.g., DB, CM / GC, P3).Experience in project management roles supporting owners.Experience with Microsoft Power BI, Oracle Cloud Analytics, or other dashboard KPI reporting software.Compensation Details
The salary range listed for this role is $83k-$100k / year ($40-$48 / hour). The final salary offered will be based on multiple factors and thoughtfully aligned with each candidate's level of experience, breadth of skills, total education achieved, certifications / licenses that have been obtained, geographic location, etc.
