Senior Engineer

Link Technologies (LinkTechConsulting.com), a Las Vegas, NV based IT consulting firm, is currently seeking a Senior Engineer to join our team.

JOB SUMMARY

This role will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business value through the leadership of application development and integration solutions. Responsibilities include conducting technical analysis, designing and documenting system architecture, developing software solutions, and mentoring team members throughout the project lifecycle.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Expert in CMS (Casino Management System) domain experience
• CRM Dynamics is a plus
• Proficiency in implementing Cloud functions.
• Strong expertise in Azure and GCP, including data synchronization from multiple sources and between both platforms.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Nevada Gaming Control Board Registration and any other required certifications or licenses, as mandated by law or company policy.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in information technology.
• Minimum of four (4) years of hands-on experience across all phases of software development life cycle.
• Minimum four (4) years of experience developing and implementing information systems using Java and Microsoft technologies, including frameworks such as SQL Server, ASP.NET MVC, WCF, Entity Framework, and ASP.NET Web API.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience with object-oriented design and commonly used design patterns.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience applying industry-standard systems analysis techniques, including data modeling, process modeling, data flow diagrams, UML, business process reengineering, and continuous process improvement.
• Proficient in test-driven development practices.
• Skilled in data manipulation using stored procedures, queries, and triggers (CRUD operations).
• Strong understanding of data normalization, referential integrity, and indexing best practices.
• Experience with version control tools such as GIT, SVN, VSS, and TFS.
• Familiarity with DevOps orchestration tools like JIRA and Jenkins.
• Knowledgeable in secure coding practices.
• Ability to understand and execute complex project specifications, adapt to new technologies quickly, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Working knowledge of key ITIL processes, including continuous improvement, change management, incident management, problem management, release management, and service request management.
• Capable of working both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with team members and guests from diverse backgrounds and experience levels.
• Must be flexible with work schedule, including availability for nights, weekends, and holidays.
