Jomar Valve, a manufacturer and distributor of innovative plumbing, industrial and HVAC components is seeking an Engineer to support the technical team. The successful candidate would possess education and early job experience in the Mechanical Engineering Field.The Product Engineering team consists of engineering and quality departments as we strive to be team-oriented to support all divisions at Jomar.
Responsibilities :
- Develop and maintain technical documentation
- Provide technical support to inside / outside sales
- Request and document models and drawings from vendors
- Create spec sheets for our products consisting of CAD drawings, dimensions, specs, etc.
- 3D modeling using SolidWorks
- Request and document applicable certifications
- Serve as the secondary quality support for root-cause, resolution, and continuous improvement
- Hands on support for warehouse, New Building expansion, and special projects
Job Requirements :
- Bachelor’s Degree in engineering preferred
- A minimum of 1-3 years’ experience (Education may be taken in conjunction with experience)
- Educational or practical knowledge of plumbing and HVAC systems preferred
- Hands-on learner with strong technical and mechanical aptitude
- Ability to work comfortably with hand tools and power tools
- Computer Program proficiencies : Strong Excel skills, SolidWorks, Revit
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
- Ambitious nature, independent thinker, self-starter
- Excellent interpersonal skills with team members and clients
- Customer Service Focus
- Strong problem solving and data analysis
- Desire to learn and drive for results
