[job_card.job_description]Position is based in a hospital nursing float pool with coverage mainly for the ED holding unit and ICU Will work across multiple units including ICU, PCU, Med-Surg, CCU, Rehab, and the ED holding area as needed Primary unit assignment is ED holding, with mixed patient diagnoses and high-paced environment Patient ratios : ICU 1 : 2, PCU / CCU 1 : 4, Med-Surg 1 : 5, Rehab 1 : 8 with team model Specialized procedures and therapies include cardiac rhythm interpretation, vent management, and invasive line management Uses EPIC EMR, Alaris IV pumps, and Pyxis medication dispensing system Night shift position with 12-hour shifts; schedule varies according to unit needs and is provided three weeks at a time Floating may be required within scope of practice, including partial shifts to other units Responsible for caring for patients with complex diagnoses including respiratory failure, sepsis, DKA, CVA, and more Will assist with patient transport throughout the hospital on night shifts as needed Team includes techs, respiratory therapists, hospitalist and intensivist support 24 / 7 Orientation includes two days of hospital onboarding plus one day on assigned unit; provided four hours orientation to additional units when floating Up to five days of approved time off allowed; additional time off by request and may be added to end of assignment No holiday requests, self-scheduling, or on-call requirements First-time travelers will be considered for this position Active WA or compact RN license required Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience required Certifications required : BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Experience with cardiac rhythm interpretation, vent management, invasive lines, and patient education skills Must complete telemetry competency assessment Experience with EPIC EMR preferred High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts
