Job Summary
As a Tennis Instructor, your primary focus will be to deliver an outstanding tennis experience for our members and guests. You will design and lead engaging tennis clinics, private lessons, and exciting events that foster participation in our comprehensive tennis programs. Build relationships, promote tennis memberships, and serve as the club's enthusiastic tennis ambassador to elevate the value we offer!
Key Responsibilities
- Design and promote captivating tennis clinics and instructional programs for all skill levels, including adults, juniors, and seniors.
- Deliver top-notch private and group lessons to enhance skills and enjoyment of the game.
- Organize leagues, tournaments, and community events to encourage participation and foster engagement.
- Utilize the tennis facilities effectively to maintain a lively atmosphere and attract new members.
- Assist members with tennis-related requests while adhering to established club policies.
- Welcome new members by providing them with an engaging tennis orientation.
- Maintain the courts and ensure a safe, enjoyable environment for all users.
- Help maintain orderly workspaces, arranging equipment and clearing debris as needed.
Your Commitment

Your Profile
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of competitive or professional experience in playing, instructing, or coaching tennis, preferably in a club setting.
- A minimum of 1 year running group clinics and private lessons for various age groups.
- Experience organizing social events for member engagement.
- Certification from a recognized tennis organization (e.g., USPTA or PTR).
Preferred:
- College degree or relevant education.
- Experience in ROGY programs.
- Strong customer service background, particularly in sports or recreation.
- Ability to effectively promote tennis programs and engage members.
- Excellent communication skills with a talent for relationship-building across diverse age groups.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, and drive frequently.
- Occasional exposure to changing temperatures and environmental elements.
- Physical capabilities including squatting, twisting, and lifting up to 100 lbs.
Work Schedule
- Must adhere to a flexible weekly schedule, including availability on weekends and holidays.
