Job Description

Join our team in the manufacturing and assembly of industrial power systems. You will be responsible for wiring power systems and assembling electrical components, using your expertise to interpret schematics and engineering drawings. Your role will involve the use of hand and power tools, such as power drills, wire crimpers, wire strippers, screwdrivers, hammers, and tape measures. This position requires standing for the entire shift in a non-climate controlled environment, and occasionally standing on ladders to assemble units up to 8 feet tall.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and wire industrial power systems.
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints, and schematic drawings.
• Utilize hand and power tools effectively.
• Maintain accuracy in measuring and assembling components.

Work Environment

The work takes place in a large, open bay production facility with multiple workstations. The production floor is not climate controlled, but industrial-sized ceiling fans keep the air circulating. Safety is a priority, with required use of safety shoes, safety glasses, and ear plugs as needed. The shift is Monday to Friday from 6 : 00am to 4 : 30pm, plus Saturday from 6 : 00am to 12 : 30pm. Availability to work on Saturdays is essential.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Jacksonville, Florida.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00 / hr.
