Senior Project Manager

Vanguard's Internal Audit & SOX department is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our Technology Advisory and Analytics & Automation team. In this strategic, high-impact role, you'll lead initiatives that advance data, automation, and audit transformation objectives, ensuring alignment with Internal Audit's strategy and executive priorities. Partnering closely with leadership, you'll provide the delivery discipline, governance, and structure needed to drive seamless project executionfrom initial concept through successful change adoptionwhile enabling consistent progress across multiple workstreams.

Core Responsibilities :

• Lead multiple projects or major workstreams, ensuring structured planning, execution and monitoring of deliverables within defined scope, budget and timelines.
• Collaborate with leadership to ensure project objectives align with overall company strategy and industry trends, driving long-term business impact.
• Build strong relationships with internal and external partners, effectively communicating key project updates, resolving roadblocks and influencing decision-making.
• Proactively identify project risks, develop mitigation strategies and implement contingency plans to ensure minimal disruption to business operations.
• Supports resource planning and ensures optimal utilization of workforce, tools and financial resources for successful project execution.
• Track key project metrics, prepare detailed reports and provide leadership with data-driven insights for informed decision-making.
• Provide expert recommendations on critical business challenges, ensuring timely resolution of escalated project issues.
• Lead organizational change management initiatives, training teams on new processes and ensuring seamless adoption of business strategies.
