The Procurement Coordinator is responsible for medium and high critical materials, equipment, and subcontracts sourcing events. Expectation is “expert level” knowledge on procurement related processes and procedures. A Procurement Coordinator is expected to lead small groups and substitute in place of the Project Procurement Manager (PPM) performing and carrying out PPM related responsibilities. Additionally, a Procurement Coordinator should develop negotiating strategies, assign work, plus oversee and mentor lesser tenured peers; Procurement Coordinator I and II. The Procurement Coordinator is also responsible for sourcing activities for both estimating support on projects in the Deal Development phase and Procurement Execution activities during the life cycle of a project from RFP solicitation through the Award phase. The Procurement Coordinator must also be proficient in performing commercial analysis’ of Bidders’ proposals, writing and submitting recommendations of award and conducting Bidder conferences. Responsibilities also include engaging and maintaining Supplier relationships on awarded contracts, communicating with key internal and external stakeholders and maintaining overall transparency with the Project Management Team (PMT).

• Bachelor’s degree or a diploma with equivalent working experience in lieu of a degree
• - years related industry experience preferred
• Preferred large industrial construction procurement experience
• Prefer experience in multiple industrial market sectors
• Prior experience interfacing with client and engineering entities preferred
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Employee will be required to communicate in person, via telephone, email, use of arm/hand steadiness, manual dexterity, finger dexterity, multi limb coordination, oral expression, and comprehension. May be required to lift, carry and move objects safely.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work will be in a conservative corporate office environment operating and functioning at a fast pace. Working out of cubicles near other various colleagues who are also in cubes. Some may refer to these workspaces as cube farms. Our corporate campus includes an on-site café with various daily breakfast, lunch and snack-time selections, a sizeable fitness center equipped with various state of the artwork out equipment & weights, outdoor walking/jogging-path, herb garden, basketball half-court, sand-volleyball court, soccer field, as well as a clinic with a certified nurse practitioner. Office noise will be low and generally consist of cube neighbors’ phone-calls, conversations and/or laughter.
