Payroll and Benefits Administrator

This position will be located at our small corporate headquarters in the East Lake-Orient Park area of Tampa (just a short drive from the I-4 / I-75 interchange).

We're looking for a detail-driven, people-focused Payroll & Benefits Administrator to keep our team running smoothly across the country. You'll own the process of making sure everyone gets paid correctly and on time - and that our benefits programs are managed with care and accuracy.You will be responsible for assisting with the processing of weekly payroll for employees in various offices across the country.

Additionally, you will assist with managing employee benefits administration, including enrollments, termination, and annual open enrollment.

What You Will Do

• Manage workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely.
• Reconcile payroll prior to transmission and validate confirmed reports.
• Understand proper state and federal taxation laws.
• Reconcile time to the job cost timecards.
• Assist in processing accurate and timely year-end reporting (W-2, 941, 1095, 1099).
• Maintain and update employee payroll records.
• Assist with managing employee benefits administration, including enrollments, terminations, and annual open enrollment.
• Resolve payroll issues and respond to queries and requests in a timely manner.
• Other duties as assigned.
