Job Duties and Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Staff Developer to join our dynamic team. This is an ideal role for a self-starter who excels in a fast-paced, agile-driven extreme programming environment. You will be a key contributor and leader, driving innovation with a strong focus on CI / CD (Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment). You must be passionate about building secure, high-impact applications and have the ability to lead and mentor other energetic developers.

Key Responsibilities :

Translate Jira requirements / stories into robust, object-oriented Java code using the Spring framework; solve complex problems and guide the team in creating innovative solutions

Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, QA, Product Owners, and business stakeholders, to ensure successful project delivery

Write high-quality, maintainable code with comprehensive unit test coverage, following coding standards and accessibility guidelines

Provide technical guidance and architectural solutions, mentoring team members to drive innovation and best practices

Maintain accurate story / task updates in Jira, including status, comments, and identification of additional work items as needed

Participate in on-call rotations to support production issues, ensuring timely resolution and accurate incident documentation

Skills, Experience and Requirements

Education and Experience :

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or an equivalent technical field
• 7+ years of professional development experience with a strong foundation in Java / J2EE object-oriented pattern-based development

Skills and Qualifications :

Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and the Spring Framework, including designing and developing RESTful services in Java

Familiarity with front-end technologies such as CSS / Sass, Bootstrap, HTML, XML, JSON, and jQuery; knowledge of JSP and Struts 2 is a plus

Strong experience with version control (Git), build automation tools (Maven, Gradle), and testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito)

Exposure to Single Page Application (SPA) frameworks; knowledge of Node.js, React, and Jest is a significant plus

Solid understanding of web security best practices and strong problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills

Highly motivated with a “can-do” attitude, eagerness to learn, and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced, agile environment

Salary Ranges

Compensation : $110,100.00 / Year - $157,300.00 / Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
