Linux Administrator (Broomfield)

JOB DESCRIPTION

A leading company in the commercial space industry is looking for a Sr Linux Administrator to join their growing corporate IT Team. This company builds and delivers the future of space transportation, destinations and infrastructure, offering space-as-a-service in support of the new space economy. In this role, you will be a crucial asset to the team in setting the standards and direction they follow within their Linux environment. You will be responsible for deploying Linux operating systems on servers and workstations, working with dev tools to automat day to day activities, user support for development teams, and working with cyber as it relates to cyber standards. You will evaluate the interface between hardware and software, operational requirements, and characteristics of their systems to correct deficiencies and produce effective data handling, integrity, and storage.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

5+ years of Linux administration experience

Expert with Linux RedHat

Experience with automation deployment tools, Puppet preferred

Experience supporting servers in a cloud environment (AWS or Azure preferred)

Experience with VMware (VRealize, VRealize Operations, VRealize Automation, hypervisor - highly preferred)

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Experience integrating Active Directory into a Linux environment

Certifications : AWS Cloud Foundations, Azure Fundamentals, AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate, AWS Certified Developer - Associate, Microsoft Certified : Azure Administrator Associate)

Compensation :

$59 / hr to $68 / hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
