Job Description
Our Behavior Interventionist are trained to provide and implement behavioral programming specific to the individual needs of children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, or other developmental disabilities. As Behavior Interventionist, you will assist in data collection of childs treatment plan goals, implement intervention strategies according to the behavior intervention plan provided by the BCBA, demonstrate behavior analytic principles under the guidance of supervision with children and families, and monitor behavioral progress.
Essential Functions
Drive to sessions (within a 15-mile radius)
Set up and plan session to target childs individualized goals.
Conduct session with child and encourage parent participation
Demonstrate ABA knowledge and application in every session.
Record accurate data during sessions.
Create 100 learning opportunities for child per therapy session.
Accompanies child on community outings.
Documents after every session.
Communicate effectively with all staff and parents.
Collaborative Therapies will support you in becoming a Registered Behavior Technician in the field of ABA Therapy and offers continuous support and ongoing training to help you grow as a Behavioral Interventionist.
Competencies
High-school diploma (required)
Bachelors Degree (preferred)
Drivers License (required)
Registered Behavior Technician (preferred)
CPI certified (preferred)
Ability to lift 30 pounds (required)
Ability to sit on floor and childrens chair (required)
Ability to walk, stand, squat, stoop, run, etc. (required)
