Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist with at least 2 years of IR experience for a 13-week daytime contract assignment.

Responsibilities

Work in a short-term acute care, Level III trauma, teaching hospital

Unit : Interventional Radiology

Shifts are 3x12 hours per week, 7 : 00 AM to 7 : 00 PM, with non-consecutive days and varying days off as needed

Weekend shifts required every other weekend

Call required as part of the regular schedule

Floating to like units within scope may be required

Epic used for charting; prior experience preferred

Scrubs are provided

Responsibilities include assisting with interventional radiology procedures, monitoring patients, and collaborating with the care team

All callouts for scheduled shifts must be made up as deemed necessary by the department

First-time travelers are accepted

No block scheduling accommodations

Return staff must have a 1-year gap before returning as a traveler

Travelers may only complete two consecutive assignments before a mandatory 6-month break

Time-off requests are subject to manager discretion

Testing and vaccinations may be required per facility policy

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience required

Current IR Technologist credentials and applicable license required

Experience working with acute care and trauma patients preferred

Ability to work weekends, day shifts, and participate in call as scheduled

Must live more than 50 miles from the main campus

Applications must include 2 recent professional supervisor references

Pending licenses not accepted—active credential required at time of consideration

License required if applicable
