Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist with at least 2 years of IR experience for a 13-week daytime contract assignment.
Responsibilities
Work in a short-term acute care, Level III trauma, teaching hospitalUnit : Interventional RadiologyShifts are 3x12 hours per week, 7 : 00 AM to 7 : 00 PM, with non-consecutive days and varying days off as neededWeekend shifts required every other weekendCall required as part of the regular scheduleFloating to like units within scope may be requiredEpic used for charting; prior experience preferredScrubs are providedResponsibilities include assisting with interventional radiology procedures, monitoring patients, and collaborating with the care teamAll callouts for scheduled shifts must be made up as deemed necessary by the departmentFirst-time travelers are acceptedNo block scheduling accommodationsReturn staff must have a 1-year gap before returning as a travelerTravelers may only complete two consecutive assignments before a mandatory 6-month breakTime-off requests are subject to manager discretionTesting and vaccinations may be required per facility policyRequirements
Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience requiredCurrent IR Technologist credentials and applicable license requiredExperience working with acute care and trauma patients preferredAbility to work weekends, day shifts, and participate in call as scheduledMust live more than 50 miles from the main campusApplications must include 2 recent professional supervisor referencesPending licenses not accepted—active credential required at time of considerationLicense required if applicableBenefits
