Facility in Little Rock, AR seeking CV Anesthesiology locums coverage Rates : $425 / hr Summary : Facility is seeking a Board-Certified Cardiovascular (CV) Anesthesiologist to provide coverage for CV anesthesia cases, supervising CV CRNAs, performing TEEs, and placing epidurals. This position requires comfort with all CV cases (excluding transplants), ECMO, and thoracic cases. Schedule :

  • Shift : Monday Friday, 7 AM - 3 PM
  • 2025 Dates Needed :
  • February 17-21
  • March 17-21
  • May 19-23
  • No call requirement

Responsibilities :

  • Perform anesthesia for cardiovascular cases, excluding transplants
  • Supervise CRNAs, providing guidance and assistance as needed
  • Perform TEEs (familiarity with Siemens TEE systems required)
  • Placement of epidurals for CV patients

    • Requirements :

  • Education and Certification : Board Certified in Anesthesiology; TEE certification preferred
  • Experience : Minimum 1 year in cardiovascular anesthesiology, including ECMO and thoracic case experience
  • State License : Active AR License preferred; will consider candidates willing to obtain an AR license
  • Certification : ACLS, BLS, DEA

    • Credentialing :

  • Timeframe : 2-3 weeks
  • Requirements : Must provide documentation on licensure status, malpractice history, availability, and COVID vaccination status

    • For this role, candidates with a strong track record in cardiovascular anesthesia and the ability to lead and mentor CRNAs in a busy cardiac unit will be preferred.
