About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced and people-focused Manager of Software Development to lead a team of approximately 10 talented Senior Software Engineers and Software Engineers. In this role, you will drive technical excellence, foster collaboration, and ensure the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions that align with our strategic goals. You will serve as both a technical leader and a people managerempowering your team to grow, maintaining a culture of innovation and accountability, and ensuring the right balance between speed, quality, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & People Management

• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of software engineers, providing regular feedback, coaching, and career development guidance.
• Foster an inclusive, collaborative, and growth-oriented team culture.
• Conduct regular one-on-one meetings, performance reviews, and goal-setting sessions.

Project & Delivery Management

Technical Leadership

Collaboration & Communication

Qualifications Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

7+ years of professional software development experience.

2+ years of experience managing or leading software engineering teams.

Proven ability to lead teams through complex technical projects from inception to delivery.

Strong understanding of modern software development practices, including delivery frameworks, DevOps, and cloud-based architectures.

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Preferred :

Experience leading distributed or hybrid teams.

Hands-on experience with C#, Java, SQL, Event-driven Architecture, and cloud services.

Prior experience in a fast-paced, product-focused environment.

Knowledge of retail and distribution business processes.
