Boeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Experienced Program Management Specialist to join our dynamic team in Berkeley Missouri .

The Program Manager leads the F-15 Japan Super Interceptor (JSI) system development efforts. Boeing is upgrading Electronic Warfare Radar Cockpit Avionics and Weapon systems of Japans F-15 fleet. The F-15 JSI Development Program Manager has an exciting opportunity to complete the development of complex systems supporting multiple international programs and leading the team through lab and flight testing. This position will experience a wide array of activities from engineering development & performance management to international and U.S. flight-testing. The Development Program Manager will support the US Air Force and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries in both U.S. and Japan locations. F-15 JSI is a complex program encompassing both Foreign Military Sales (FMS) and Direct Commercial Sales (DCS) contracts. This is a fantastic opportunity to broaden exposure to complex systems support international customers (including international travel) and build experience with multiple contract types on a single program.

The program manager will also have the responsibility for leading the development programs financial and schedule performance lead our critical supplier development & deliveries and engage across BDS BGS and BT&E teams to successfully deliver a world-class F-15 product to the Japan Air Self-Defense Force (JASDF).

This position includes the opportunity for travel to Japan (anticipate 2x per year) and U.S.-based supplier locations as required

Position Responsibilities :

Leads development of multiple F-15 subsystem upgrades including computing electronic warfare radar avionics and weapons integration

Establish and lead On-Time Delivery (OTD) plans and approaches for tracking supplier and Boeing material / product kitting & delivery

Owns development program work structures as well as development program and execution plans

Identifies key program level horizontal and vertical integration interfaces between major activities teams suppliers partners and customers

Facilitates the resolution of program issues

Supports the F-15 JSI Program Manager in program-wide execution

Implements FMS & DCS customer and program communication and contact plans

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position is for 1st shift.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. ( An Interim and / or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post Start is required.)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience) :

• Bachelors degree or higher
• More than 5 years of experience in program or project management

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience) :

Typical Education / Experience :

Education / experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 14 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD9 years related work experience Master12 years related work experience 18 years related work experience etc.)

Summary pay range : $157250 - $212750
