Diesel Technician – 1st Shift

Pay: $30–$35/hr (Based on Experience)

About the Role

We’re looking for a highly skilled Diesel Technician who takes pride in delivering quality work and keeping equipment running at peak performance. In this role, you’ll diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines across a variety of vehicles and machinery. You’ll work with advanced diagnostic tools, interpret technical manuals, and ensure every repair meets high standards of accuracy and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair diesel engines in a range of vehicles and equipment
• Perform routine maintenance to support long-term engine performance
• Use hand tools and diagnostic software to inspect, troubleshoot, and repair components
• Read and interpret schematics and technical manuals
• Align and transmit engines for optimal performance
• Maintain detailed and accurate service and repair records

Essential Skills & Experience

• Strong proficiency with diagnostic software and tools
• Extensive knowledge of transmissions, differentials, engines, driveline, suspension, brakes, electrical systems, hydraulics, and related systems
• Solid understanding of air brake systems
• Skilled in using hand tools and diagnostic equipment
• Ability to interpret schematics and technical manuals
• Minimum 2 years of mechanical experience preferred
• Experience working with diesel engines in tractor‑trailers, farm machinery, or similar equipment

Work Environment

This role operates in a non‑climate‑controlled shop environment. You’ll work with a wide range of hand tools and diagnostic equipment to perform essential mechanical and technical duties.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tulsa, OK.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $35.00/hr.
