Security Officer - Logistics Patrol Specialist

As a Security Officer - Logistics Patrol Specialist in Orlando, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned logistics and distribution locations, helping to deter security-related incidents through your visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols and interact with individuals on site, delivering outstanding customer service while supporting a secure environment. Pay Rate : $15.70 / Hour

Job Schedule : DayTime

Mon 11 : 15 PM - 07 : 15 AM

Tue 11 : 15 PM - 07 : 15 AM

Wed 11 : 15 PM - 07 : 15 AM

Thur 11 : 15 PM - 07 : 15 AM

Fri 11 : 15 PM - 07 : 15 AM

What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
  • Observe and report any suspicious activities, hazards, or maintenance needs encountered during patrols to the appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain accurate logs and detailed incident reports as required by Allied Universal and the site.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and / or identifying visitors as needed.
  • Collaborate with site staff and local authorities as directed during incidents or emergencies.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
