JOB DESCRIPTION

A steel fabricator in the area is looking for someone with your experience. They are continuing to grow and are looking to add to their team. They have a strong and highly skilled group focused on teamwork and collaboration. The ideal candidate is capable of creating detailed fabrication drawings for structural steel components from architectural and structural design plans. Experience using 2D and 3D designing software is highly preferred. Candidates must have a strong working knowledge of detailing design standards and guidelines for AISC steel construction.

Qualifications / Requirements :

• Knowledge of AISC steel construction detailing design standards and guidelines
• Ability to read Contract Drawings, Fabrication Drawings and perform RFIs, revisions and communciate status updates
• Detail-oriented, Strong problem-solving skills, Excellent organizational skills
• Coordination with engineers, architects and general contractors
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
