Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Locum Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant - Surgery - Vascular for our client in Colorado!

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide first assist in vascular surgery procedures
  • Support general, endovascular, and complex vascular surgeries
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including APPs, MAs, RVTs, and a full-time provider
  • Utilize Epic EMR for patient documentation and care coordination
  • Participate in on-call coverage as scheduled

Qualifications

  • Board certified through ABMS or AOA
  • Active Colorado medical license
  • COVID-19 vaccination required
  • Clean malpractice and background history
  • Must disclose number of years using Epic and the most recent usage date

    • Working Hours

  • Must be available to cover two extended weekends per month (Thursday through Monday or Tuesday)
  • Estimated credentialing timeframe : 60?90 days

    • Skills

  • Proficient in first assist for vascular surgeries
  • Experience in procedures including bypass, fem-pop, aorto-femoral / iliac, peripheral, carotid, thoracic, and abdominal surgeries
  • Skilled in placement of vascular access devices and subclavian steal procedures
  • Familiar with Epic EMR system and efficient documentation practices
  • Ability to work effectively in a trauma-level hospital environment

    • All travel expenses are reimbursed by our client and Orchard covers malpractice insurance with tail coverage!

    Job Type : Contract

    Pay : $175.00 - $185.00 per hour
