Job Summary

The Department of Education and Teacher Preparation seeks applicants to teach undergraduate courses in Elementary / Special Education or Middle Grades Education and / or supervise and mentor teacher candidates in P-12 clinical field placements beginning on August 1st, 2025. Please indicate your preference for working as a course instructor, a teacher candiate field supervisor, or both in your Cover Letter

Responsibilities

Responsibilities - Instructor of Education -

• Teach a part-time load of courses in educational foundations, elementary pedagogy, and / or middle grades pedagogy.
• Prepare syllabi that align with course learning outcomes; implement research-informed and practice-based learning experiences with teacher candidates; and assess course learning outcomes informally, formally, and through performance-based means.
• Maintain office hours and collaborate closely with faculty to support the success of our programs and teacher candidates.
• Teach courses using in-person, hybrid, or virtual modalities as needed.
