Position Description

A Flatbed Truck Driver primary role is to safely and efficiently transport equipment to and from job sites and projects as required by the company. Loading and securing the equipment, as well as other tasks deemed necessary are also required.

• Communication Skills : good verbal communication, ability to work with others
• Equipment Knowledge : should be familiar / have experience with vehicles and various machinery, understanding of maintenance
• Familiarity with Industry Standards : comprehend and stay updated with DOT regulations, reports
• Maintain a safe vehicle and equipment
• Work with and load a variety of equipment, understand basic maintenance of heavy machinery
• Operate equipment efficiently and carefully
• Calculate and report weight of equipment
• Drive truck equipped with many different trailer attachments
• Perform other related tasks as necessary
