Architect
Location: St. Louis, MO | Full-time
Experience: 7–10+ years | Licensed Architect preferred
Salary range: $100,000 – $130,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
A well-established Midwest architecture, engineering, and construction firm with a 100-year legacy of civic and educational design excellence is seeking a design-focused Architect to join its St. Louis team. The firm’s work spans K-12 and higher education, municipal and community facilities, and mixed-use developments—projects that balance function, sustainability, and strong visual identity.
What You’ll Do
- Lead project design from concept through construction documentation and delivery.
- Develop, present, and defend design concepts to clients and community stakeholders in clear, compelling terms.
- Oversee project quality assurance and mentor junior architects and designers to strengthen team capability.
- Coordinate with internal MEP and structural teams to maintain design integrity through all phases.
- Manage deadlines, budgets, and consultant communication while preserving design intent.
- Participate in client interviews, presentations, and design reviews.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
- Architectural licensure required (or achievable within 12 months).
- 7–10+ years of professional experience with demonstrated project leadership.
- Strong proficiency in Revit/BIM 360, Adobe Creative Suite, and Bluebeam.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to translate technical ideas for non-technical audiences.
- Proven record of design rigor, accountability, and collaboration.
