Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled Mainframe Network Engineer with strong expertise in communication servers TPX and Connect : Direct (NDM) . The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in mainframe networking troubleshooting and deployment along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities :

Configure maintain and troubleshoot mainframe network components including TPX Connect : Direct (NDM) and communication servers.

Perform network analysis and packet capture using tools such as Wireshark .

Lead deployments system integrations and problem resolution across mainframe environments.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure network stability security and performance.

Diagnose and resolve connectivity or performance issues in production and test environments.

Document network configurations processes and troubleshooting steps.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

5 10 years of experience as a Mainframe Network Engineer (more experience preferred).

Strong hands-on expertise with :

Communication Servers

TPX

Connect : Direct (NDM)

Proficiency with Wireshark and other network diagnostic tools.

Strong troubleshooting analytical and deployment skills.

Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.

Nice to Have :

Experience with network automation or modernization initiatives.

Familiarity with mainframe security protocols and compliance standards.

Exposure to large-scale enterprise network environments.
