Gas Processing Operator

Key Responsibilities :

• Operate essential gas processing equipment such as compressors, scrubbers, and evaporators to liquefy or compress gases.
• Prepare and process gas for utility companies and industrial use, ensuring high quality and compliance with specifications.
• Calculate and maintain gas ratios, delivering accurate measurements and adjustments as necessary.
• Monitor and test gas purity, including oxygen moisture content, to uphold quality standards.
• Regasify natural gas efficiently using state-of-the-art compressors and refrigeration equipment.
• Carefully read and record gauge readings, temperature, pressure, levels, and flow rates for operational assessments.
• Optimize gas flow by adjusting necessary parameters such as temperature, pressure, and vacuum levels.
• Extract nitrogen from air using advanced fractioning columns and purifying technologies.
• Perform start-up and shutdown procedures for plant equipment according to safety protocols.
• Handle treating plants, chilled water gas conditioning skids, and gas measurement equipment with skill and precision.
• Respond proactively to emergencies, ensuring safety and compliance at all times.
• Maintain and repair essential equipment such as reciprocating natural gas compressors and fluid separation equipment, including the replacement of filters, valves, and gaskets.
