Purpose Statement/Position Summary: Advanced Practice Provider for outpatient care, consultation and treatment of pediatric patients with chronic and acute dermatological disorders. The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) delivers comprehensive, patient-centered care in collaboration with a multidisciplinary healthcare team. This role prioritizes direct patient care while actively contributing to divisional quality improvement initiatives and the enhancement of clinical outcomes. Additionally, the APP supports orientation efforts and provides education to patients, families, and team members to promote understanding and engagement in care.

APP patient coverage may require, regularly scheduled days and occasional weekends.

Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience:

Required : Enhanced knowledge of pediatric patient care principles, and ability to manage specialty patient care and emergencies by prioritizing patient care acuity and tasks, collaborating with entire care team critically, comprehensively both verbally and in writing. Ability to adapt to a fast paced, high volume clinic.

Preferred : Pediatric clinical experience; pediatric dermatology experience. Nurse Practitioner or Physician’s Assistant experience highly preferred.

Education/Licensure/Certification:

Education/Licensure Required :

• Master's Degree from an accredited college or university

• PA - Physician Assistant State License or NP - Nurse Practitioner License

• DEA - Drug Enforcement Administration

• American Health Association BLS - Basic Life Support & PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support

• NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NICCU only)

Certification (NP) Required :

• Pediatric Nurse-Practitioner Acute-Care OR DUAL

• Pediatric Nurse-Practitioner Primary-care

• Family Nurse-Practitioner (Post-Master’s Pediatric Preferred)

• Neonatal Nurse-Practitioner (NICCU Only)

Pay Scale Information

$116,189.00-$199,181.00

Final determination of a successful candidate’s starting pay will vary based on a number of factors, including, but not limited to education and experience within the job or the industry. The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this specific job description. Additional pay may be determined for those candidates that exceed these specified qualifications and requirements.
