[job_card.job_description]Designing test strategies, creating test scripts, and executing them to validate the ETL process Ensuring data is accurately extracted, transformed according to business rules, and loaded into target systems Pinpointing discrepancies and inconsistencies in the data and reporting them for resolution. Working closely with ETL developers, data analysts, and business stakeholders to ensure the ETL system meets requirements. Analyzing test results, identifying areas for improvement, and providing detailed reports to stakeholders. Automating repetitive tasks to improve efficiency and consistency in testing. Following industry standards and best practices for data quality assurance. Responsible for executing the QA Testing Create Test Plan , Test Strategy and Test Summary documents Prepare traceability matrix Skill Set : Strong SQL skills : Proficiency in writing and executing SQL queries for data validation and analysis. Knowledge of ETL tools : Experience with ETL tools like Informatica, Talend, or SSIS. Data warehousing concepts : Understanding of data warehousing concepts, star schemas, and snowflake schemas. Data analysis skills : Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and interpret data patterns. Tools : Jira, Confluence
