Accounts Receivable Assistant

Stange Law Firm, PC is accepting resumes only for a dynamic and highly motivated Accounts Receivable Assistant for the Firm's headquarters office in Clayton, Missouri.

This is a full time position with hourly pay. Office hours for this position are 9:00 am- 5:00 pm Monday-Friday.

Duties include assisting the Accounts Receivable Director with the following:

• Tracks and collects past due monies from clients on a daily basis.
• Records and updates collection notes pursuant to firm guidelines.
• Prepares and updates collection reports.
• Liaison between the Firm and Clients with respect to collections.
• Ensures all communications with Clients are professional in nature while keeping and improving client relations.
• Works collaboratively with members of the Finance Directors and Assistants and Director of Administration and Billing Clerks to resolve past due balances.
• Performs other duties and projects as assigned.
• Contacts clients regarding outstanding balances and replenishing trust accounts as directed by the Accounts Receivable Directors and at the reasonable request of attorneys.
• Provides accounts receivable guidance and support to the Board of Directors and Officers.
• Promptly returns all calls ad emails from clients regarding their bill and or billing questions.
• Performs special projects as needed.
• Supports the Firm's goals through productive teamwork with other employees and developing strong relationships with current and prospective clients.
• Participates with Partners, Human Resource Director, and Managing Partner in personnel matters/human resource matters as needed.
• Performs any other reasonable task as determined or requested.

• Proficient in PC Programs
• Moderate typing skills (45 wpm)
