Description:
The Marketing Specialist works closely with Brokers and Customers to build and deliver clear, engaging digital benefits guides that support confident employee decision-making. This role ensures guides are accurate, personalized, and delivered on time to align with enrollment milestones, while continuously improving content based on engagement insights.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Brokers, HR partners, benefits vendors, and internal subject matter experts to gather accurate plan details and supporting resources for the implementation and launch of the DecideGuide.
- Build, customize, and maintain customer DecideGuides that clearly explain benefit offerings, including medical, dental, vision, retirement, voluntary benefits, and wellness programs.
- Personalize guides for different employee segments (e.g., full-time, part-time, location, role) as applicable.
- Prepare and deploy final guides across multiple distribution channels, including email, QR codes, and print-ready formats, ensuring timely delivery aligned with customer expectations and key enrollment milestones.
- Schedule and manage messaging to support open enrollment, onboarding, and year-round benefits education, as applicable for each customer.
- Edit and proof all content to ensure clarity, accuracy of benefits information, and adherence to requested company branding and style standards.
- Manage ongoing updates and annual renewals when benefits plans, vendors, or carrier information changes.
- Monitor guide performance metrics (e.g., clicks, completions, drop-offs, engagement) for Brokers and Customers to continuously improve content and communication effectiveness.
- Provide insights and recommendations to GIS leadership on how DecideGuides can better support enrollment goals and employee understanding.
- Serve as the primary internal point of contact for DecideGuide-related questions from internal GIS teams and external Broker and Customer teams.
- Assist with training and supporting internal and external users on the DecideGuide platform as needed.
- Contribute to other duties in support of customer success and organizational goals.
Requirements:
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Strong ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects.
- Excellent verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of benefit enrollment industry would be helpful.
- Extremely proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organization skills and attention to detail.
- Previous marketing experience a plus.
