About the role
As an Integration & Development General Manager, you will facilitate the onboarding experience of new integration offices in partnership with the Internal Operations and Field Leadership teams to ensure alignment with company culture, expectations, and processes. When not supporting new integration offices, you will partner with the Manager, Integration Experience, and your District Manager to either support in your home location or other location as determined by business needs. This support could be in your district or any other district within the organization. This role is a 12–24-month assignment, after which you may transition into a permanent General Manager role or be considered for an assignment renewal. You must have the ability to travel upto 100% of time in role, including nights and Will
  • Travel to newly integrated offices to lead onsite training and deliver comprehensive onboarding experience.
  • Welcome new teams to MyEyeDr., embodying our purpose, promise, and values.
  • Coach, develop, and train integration associates in alignment with the structured onboarding plan.
  • Provide virtual and/or on-site mentorship as needed for new integration GMs following their initial onboarding period.
  • Collaborate with the Integrations Experience Manager to provide consistent feedback and insights for stakeholders throughout the onboarding process and thereafter.
  • Travel to local offices to serve as an interim or temporary General Manager for offices that are without a General Manager for various reasons including but not limited to turnover, LOA, or are onboarding a new GM.
  • Partner with District Managers and the Manager, Integration Experience to support and execute additional responsibilities as assigned, which may include supporting your primary office or providing peer support to other office locations based on business needs.
  • Engage with various home office departments and field leadership teams across districts and regions, offering opportunities for cross-functional collaboration and development.
About You
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, operations management, or related field, or relevant work experience required.
  • A minimum of one year in a General Manager role at MyEyeDr. or equivalent leadership experience in the optical industry.
  • Proven track record of developing others and driving growth within offices.
  • Possess strong situational awareness and the ability to assess and adapt to group dynamics in real time.
  • Operates with excellence and can clearly explain the “why” behind required processes.
  • Patienceand understanding when training new teams.
  • Willingto ask questions to ensure clear and accurate communication.
  • Team player who is willing to collaborate cross functionally to provide best in class integration experiences.
  • Cross-trained across multiple office roles (Patient Service Coordinator, Optometric Technician, Eyewear Consultant), or equivalent roles.
  • Intermediate knowledge ofEyefinityEHR.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Smartsheet, or the ability and interest to learn.
