Night shifts, including 8 and 12-hour options, with a rotation every third weekend and holiday rotation.
Sign-On Bonus : $15,000 for 3rd Shift

Unit Overview :
Join our dynamic 24-bed Neurosurgical Unit, where you will care for a diverse set of patients including :
Post-operative patients from craniotomies addressing bleed evacuations, AVMs, and tumor resections.Cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine surgery patients.Patients experiencing hemorrhagic and ischemic strokes as part of our Comprehensive Stroke Program.A high volume of surgeries related to cervical and spinal issues, alongside medical overflow cases.As a team member of the Aurora Neuroscience Innovation Institute (ANII), you will have the chance to work with the latest neurosurgical techniques and provide cutting-edge care.

Assess patients’ needs, plan and implement tailored interventions, and evaluate their effectiveness, involving patients and families throughout.Recognize significant changes in patient status and adapt care plans accordingly.Implement strategies to enhance patient safety and readiness to learn.Coordinate discharge plans through interdisciplinary collaboration, ensuring evidence-based practice is applied.Monitor and evaluate patient and unit outcomes, taking initiative for improvements when necessary.Foster effective communication and collaboration among healthcare team members.Promote a culture of safety, reporting patient safety events promptly.Engage in quality improvement initiatives to enhance department performance.Participate in professional development activities and mentorship opportunities.Licensure, Registration, and / or Certification Required :
Registered Nurse license issued by the state of practice.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).Education Required :
Completion of an accredited or approved Nursing program.Experience Required :
Typically 1 year of experience in clinical nursing.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required :
