Job Location - NYC NY (Day One Onsite - Hybrid)

Key Responsibilities

Analyze existing SAS code and workflows to identify migration opportunities.

Design and implement migration strategies to convert SAS code to Python / PySpark.

Collaborate with onshore and offshore teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.

Document migration processes, methodologies, and results for future reference.

Required Skill

SAS Expertise : Strong hands-on experience with SAS (Base and Advanced).

Data Migration & Transformation : Proven experience in migration and transformation projects; familiarity with code accelerators / tools for migration is a plus.

Data Science & Statistical Modeling : Solid understanding of data science concepts and statistical techniques.

Machine Learning : Hands-on experience in training, tuning, and optimizing machine learning models using Python.

Python Development : Proficiency in Python for data engineering and data science, with strong knowledge of libraries such as Pandas and NumPy.

SQL : Advanced skills in writing and optimizing SQL queries.

PySpark : Strong experience in programming and optimizing PySpark for implementing data engineering solutions and models.

Cloud Platforms : Experience with any major cloud platform (AWS or GCP preferred).

Communication : Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to work collaboratively with a positive and proactive attitude.

Documentation : Strong documentation skills for technical processes and outcomes.

Salary Transparency

Capgemini discloses salary range information in compliance with state and local pay transparency obligations. The disclosed range represents the lowest to highest salary we, in good faith, believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting, although we may ultimately pay more or less than the disclosed range, and the range may be modified in the future. The disclosed range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, geographic location, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, performance, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs. At Capgemini, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. The base salary range for the tagged location is $110841 to $145000 / yearly.

This role may be eligible for other compensation including variable compensation, bonus, or commission. Full time regular employees are eligible for paid time off, medical / dental / vision insurance, 401(k), and any other benefits to eligible employees.

Note : No amount of pay is considered to be wages or compensation until such amount is earned, vested, and determinable. The amount and availability of any bonus, commission, or any other form of compensation that are allocable to a particular employee remains in the Company's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified at the Company's sole discretion, consistent with the law.

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is : $110841 to $145000

The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.

The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.

In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
