Fitness Instructor - National Center for Employee Development (NCED)

Job Description

NCED Fitness Center is seeking enthusiastic, certified, and experienced Group Exercise Instructors to lead safe, engaging, and motivating group fitness classes for our diverse member base. We are looking for professionals who are passionate about health and wellness and committed to delivering high-quality fitness experiences.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead safe, effective, and engaging group exercise classes (e.g., yoga, Zumba, strength training, cycling, HIIT, Pilates, etc.)

• Modify workouts to meet participants? needs and fitness levels

• Provide clear instruction, demonstrate proper techniques, and always ensure safety

• Foster a welcoming, inclusive, and motivating class environment

• Arrive punctually and prepared for all scheduled classes

• Assist with class setup, breakdown, and cleaning as needed

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of fitness trends and continuing education

Qualifications

• Current national group fitness certification from a recognized organization (e.g., ACE, AFAA, NASM, ACSM, Yoga Alliance, etc.)

• Current CPR/AED certification

• Proof of active liability insurance (minimum $1 million coverage) that covers the three entities (USPS, NCED, and Aramark).

• Prior experience leading group fitness classes (minimum 1 year preferred)

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
