Field Engineer

We're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Field Engineer to join our Richmond, VA based team . This entry-level position supports our Superintendents and field leadership in the daily coordination of on-site operations. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, contribute, and grow into a future leader - The Clancy Way.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist the Superintendent and field supervisory team with day-to-day on-site operations and coordination.
• Represent Clancy & Theys on the jobsite, helping ensure construction methods, procedures, and safety standards are consistently followed.
• Monitor and maintain accurate project documentation, including daily logs, reports, and field records.
• Coordinate with internal project teams and external partners to support effective project execution and resolve issues as they arise.
• Assist with virtual design and construction (VDC) coordination to ensure field activities align with design intent.
• Support preconstruction activities such as planning, scheduling, and estimating project needs.
• Maintain clear and consistent communication with project stakeholders, including internal departments, trade partners, and vendors.
• Support the safety program by following all established safety practices and reporting any hazards or incidents immediately.
