ECAA - Anesthesia Specialists has expanded our excellent services to the Suffolk, Virginia area at Sentara Obici ASC, and we want you to be part of our established and growing team! We are a physician-owned, visionary group that works in a collaborative team environment.

We have several sites throughout the Suffolk, Norfolk and Virginia Beach areas. Incumbents are welcome to pick which ones they would like to work at. RESIDENTS ARE WELCOME TO APPLY! Being within close proximity to the beaches provides many opportunities for a quick getaway. The position offers a wonderful work / life balance with no holidays, nights, weekends or call.

Physician is free to choose 1099 or W2 work status. For W2 FTEs we offer a lucrative benefits package including full spectrum of insurance, malpractice, disability, retirement and Paid Time Off (6-8 weeks of PTO).

Procedures run in 3-4 operating rooms and start 0730 to 1530. Cases are bread and butter – general outpatient surgery, ortho, urology, eyes, knees, etc.

There are occasional healthy peds, but no hearts, some spine, no heads. MDs have the opportunity to occasionally cover their own cases, but an efficient care team model is the goal. We work collaboratively in a medically directed environment to achieve superior outcomes. Regional anesthesia and ERAS focused environment, so experience or willing to learn a must.

Located right at the opening of the Chesapeake Bay, this beautiful city is perfect for both adventure and water lovers. Suffolk residents and traveler's also have easy access to cities worldwide with its close proximity to Norfolk's International Terminal, the largest inter-model center in the United States.
