We are partnered with an International Investment Firm located in Downtown Chicago. This role combines technical accounting expertise with strategic analysis to support complex commercial real estate integrated facilities management and project development services. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting, maintain compliance with SEC requirements, and contribute to process improvements across our global operations.

What your day-to-day will look like :

• Execute monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes for the Americas Work Dynamics business, ensuring all critical deadlines are met with accurate and timely reporting
• Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations for key accounts, investigate variances, and document adjustments while maintaining compliance with US GAAP standards
• Conduct technical accounting research and analysis on complex topics including revenue recognition, consolidation, compensation arrangements, and lease accounting
• Perform value-added financial analysis comparing current results to prior periods, identifying trends and documenting findings to support business decision-making
• Maintain and execute internal controls in compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements, supporting both internal and external audit processes
• Collaborate with Regional / Global Controllership, Finance, Tax, and Legal teams to document and resolve Work Dynamics-specific accounting issues
• Mentor junior staff members and interns while contributing to process standardization initiatives across regions
