Britt’s Cafe in Lakeland, FL, is seeking a part-time line cook to join our team at 3662 Harden Blvd. We’re looking for a candidate who is attentive, motivated, and reliable, with the ability to thrive under pressure. Strong communication skills and a love for working in a clean environment are essential. Our team is passionate about people, service, and great food, and we want someone sincere, self-motivated, enjoys collaborating with others, requires minimal supervision, and loves learning.

Responsibilities :

  • Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
  • Chop vegetables, prepare sauces, and prepare other food.
  • Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
  • Clean up station and take care of leftover food
  • Detailed Daily cleaning
  • Stock inventory
  • Clean restaurant; this includes mopping, dusting, and organizing the restaurant.
  • Perform detailed weekly cleaning, including pulling out equipment and detailing equipment.
  • Washing Dishes

Qualifications :

  • Cooking experience or Back of the House experience a must. Breakfast experience preferred.
  • Able to meet all scheduling commitments, Starting work at 5 am!
  • Able to anticipate the needs of others in the kitchen and proactively work to meet those needs
  • Strong attention to detail
