Entry Level CAREGiver

Home Instead is looking for caring and compassionate CAREGivers to become a part of our team and join our mission of enhancing the lives of aging adults throughout our community.

You must Complete Background Check, DMV check, and Drug Screen.

Possess a valid driver’s license , social security card, valid auto insurance, and have a vehicle & can reliably commute to this job’s location?

Job Responsibilities :

  • Companionship & Conversation!
  • Stand-by Assist, Mobility, Transfers
  • Meal Preparation
  • Medication Reminders
  • Personal Hygiene (bathing, dressing, grooming)
  • Assistance with toileting and incontinence issues
  • Light Housekeeping
  • Occasional Transportation – errands or appointments
  • No previous experience necessary - skills training provided by Home Instead

Schedule :

  • Choose your own hours.
  • Day shifts
  • Evening shifts
  • Night shifts
  • Overnight shifts
  • Weekend shifts / Every other Weekend shifts

    • Ability to commute / relocate :

  • West Hartford, CT : Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

    • Work Location : In person
