Production Worker

Inspector Position

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented inspector to ensure the quality of parts after the powder coating process in Plant 1. This role involves thoroughly inspecting parts and re-hanging them on racks. Additionally, the inspector will be responsible for entering completed work orders into the computer system and collaborating with management to maintain a smooth production flow.

Responsibilities :

Inspect parts after powder coating to ensure quality standards are met.

Re-hang inspected parts on racks.

Enter completed work orders into the computer system accurately.

Collaborate with management to ensure smooth production flow.

Essential Skills :

Experience in racking, packaging, and general production.

Proficiency in material handling and inspection.

Strong documentation skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications :

Comfortable with performing repetitive and tedious tasks.

High attention to safety protocols.

Ability to multitask effectively.

Capability to lift between 30-50 lbs as needed.

Excellent attention to detail.

Ability to read and follow basic work instructions.

Work Environment :

Join a metal plating company with 100 employees across 3 plants, specializing in plating and coating metal parts. The industrial environment varies with warm temperatures in the summer and cooler conditions in the winter in some departments.

Job Type & Location :

This is a contract to hire position based out of Portland, OR.

Pay and Benefits :

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.65 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
