The individual will be part of a highly visible, fast paced team within the FBM Information System Applications group. The FBM IS Software Business Analyst is expected to work across stakeholders in the business and FBM IS Project Leads in order to define / document requirements, prioritize requests (stories) and guide roadmap for implementation. Ensuring there is a clear line of communication between stakeholders and applicable teams.
- Interact with both end users and executive leadership to gain understanding and consensus on business requirements in order to define & communicate the overall vision, objectives, goals and strategy for the FBM solution
- Write and refine well-formed feedback-driven user stories that describe and detail features, functional requirements, and acceptance criteria
- Champion change and effectively manage the implementation of new ideas
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and redesign that will allow objectives to be accomplished more quickly and more effectively
- Conduct functional testing to ensure that defined Acceptance Criteria is met
- Capable of building and maintaining strong business relationships
- Capable of working in a fast-paced team environment and be a strong team player
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong background on all aspects of the software development life cycle
- Strong project management and prioritization skills
- Proactively develop and maintain technical knowledge in Oracle Technologies, remaining up-to-date on current trends and best practices; leverages expertise to produce solutions that enable consistency and standardization
Education :
BA or BS in Computer Science or related field, Business Analyst Certification Preferred
Experience :
5+ years as an Software Business Analyst
2+ years as a Software Engineering, Software Interfacing and Oracle technologies (SQL, Forms, Reports and Database development)
1+ years with Atlassian Tools (Jira, Confluence and Bitbucket)
The candidate must proses experience with proven capability in :
- Eliciting and documenting business and functional requirements
- Producing use cases and test scripts from business requirements
- Organizing and executing Integration Test and User Acceptance Test activities
- Providing the business with innovative solution to meet their current and future needs
- Working with the business to document and manage system issues
- Working with technical teams to provide business solution
- Writing queries against databases to provide data analysis
- Translating business requirements into functional specifications and manage changes to specifications
- Performing root cause analysis to identify process improvement based on LEAN methodology (ACE)
