[job_card.job_description]Current LPN / LVN license in the state of practice. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Minimum of 2 years of recent hospital experience. Ability to take own patient assignment, with the support of an RN. One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience. Experience in emergency or critical care environments. Experience working with vents / trachs / PICC lines. Two years of experience in direct patient care. Every other weekend requirement. 3x12 hour shifts. Day / Night rotation.
Job Summary :
The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN / LVN) provides nursing care as directed by a Registered Nurse. This includes gathering and reporting data, carrying out orders, and performing therapeutic procedures on patients in an age and population-appropriate manner, consistent with established policies and procedures.

Responsibilities :
- Gather and report patient data.
- Carry out physician orders.
- Perform therapeutic procedures on patients.
- Provide appropriate nursing care as directed by an RN.
- Document patient care and related duties appropriately.
- Assist with patient admissions, transfers, and discharges.
- Maintain a clean and safe patient environment.
