Shift:Description: Orthopedic Spine Surgeon - Join a Growing, High-Performing Team MercyOne Genesis is seeking a BC/BE Orthopedic Spine Surgeon to join our growing orthopedic team. This is an exceptional opportunity to be a foundational member of a new and rapidly developing orthopedic practice, with the autonomy to shape, build, and elevate a comprehensive spine program from the ground up.
We are seeking a fellowship-trained spine surgeon with expertise across the full spectrum of degenerative, traumatic, and deformity-related spinal conditions. This role offers a balance of complex surgical work, general spine care, and collaboration with a strong network of primary care, pain management, neurology, and rehabilitation services. With dedicated OR access, robust APP support, and strong system-wide infrastructure, you'll have everything you need to build a thriving, high-impact spine practice.

Qualifications - MD or DO
- Fellowship trained in Orthopedic Spine Surgery
- ABOS Board Certified or Board Eligible required
- Ability to obtain Iowa and Illinois medical licenses
- Strong clinical and surgical skill set across cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine care
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
- Open to graduating fellows and experienced surgeons
Compensation & Benefits - Two-year guaranteed salary: $739,410, with production beginning at 10,650 wRVUs
- Straight production model beginning year 3
- Potential to earn $1M+ annually
