Job Summary and Qualifications

Delivers professional nursing care to all patients presenting to the ED; performs triage assessment and acuity assignment; follows standard of care utilizing Nursing Process in delivery of care; maintains accountability for professional decisions and actions

What qualifications you will need :

Associate’s degree required.

Current State of Texas RN license or compact state license required.

American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS required

ACLS and PALS through American Heart Association or American Red Cross required within 6 months of hire

TNCC required within 18 months of hire

ENPC required within 18 months of hire

CEN and / or CPEN preferred

CPI NVCI or SAMA required within 6 months

Minimum two years of recent experience.

RN Emergency Department and trauma ED experience.

Minimum basic computer skills to document / chart, process order entry and retrieve data.
